Compton College Internal Complaints

Compton College is committed to ensuring that “no otherwise qualified individual with a disability” is excluded from participation in, subjected to discrimination in connection with, or denied the benefit of any college programs or activities due to their disability. The College will take steps to prevent the recurrence of any discrimination and to correct discriminatory effects on the complainant and others, if appropriate.

Students registered with the Special Resource Center for a qualifying disability who are dissatisfied with an assigned reasonable accommodation or who are dissatisfied with the implementation of an approved accommodation can make a complaint or appeal the decision of a previous complaint resolution by contacting the director of the Special Resource Center or the director of Diversity, Compliance and Title IX located in Human Resources.

Complaints may also be filed externally.

Students may also file a complaint of discrimination with external agencies.
