About Us

The Compton Community Health Professions Partnership (CCHPP) was created to tackle two critical challenges: a lack of access to healthcare and a shortage of healthcare professionals from our own communities. The goal is to create a direct pipeline for health education and training for our students in Compton and other surrounding areas.

Vision and Mission

The Mission of CCHPP is to build a pipeline from schools to careers. The goals of this partnership include:

1.  Increasing interest in healthcare professions.
2. Increasing the number of healthcare professionals from the greater Compton area serving local residents.
3. Energizing young people to return to their community through engagement.
4. Creating a partnership model that can be replicated in similar communities across the country.

The Vision of CCHPP is to create a collaborative model that transforms how communities of color access healthcare by empowering students to enter the health workforce, partnering with local healthcare employers, and expanding opportunities for lifelong community education and wellness.

Empowering the Next Generation of Health Leaders - Right from the Heart of Compton.
