Step 3: ORIENTATION |
Orientation provides an introduction to academic programs and support services to
help you succeed. Orientation is only offered online via the MyCompton portal. Students must have an activated Compton College student email account to access the online Orientation. For more information, call the Welcome Center, ext. 2765. |
Step 4: ED PLAN |
Focus on your goal! Meet with a counselor and complete an educational plan to identify
classes that are required to complete your certificate, degree or transfer program.

Ready to register for classes? Log in to MyCompton and register for classes on or

New Student Welcome Day
We would like to invite you to Compton College's New Student Welcome Day on Wednesday,
August 16, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The annual event will provide an opportunity
for new students to connect with the Compton College community, and:
- Meet Compton College President/CEO, Dr. Keith Curry
- Complete orientation, financial aid, meet with a counselor, and regsiter for classes
- Learn about the campus from faculty, counselors, classified professionals, and students.
- Participate in workshops about transferring, selecting majors and careers, and career
education.
