The Compton College Financial Aid & Scholarship Office is hosting a Cash for College Workshop on-campus where students and their parents will receive hands-on support completing the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California Dream Act Application (CADAA), and the Chafee applications.
Come Prepared!
- Create your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID. To complete the FAFSA, students, and parent(s) must create a FSA ID at fsaid.ed.gov.
- Student/parent 2022 income tax returns (1040s) and W-2s
- Driver’s license, if you have one
- Social security card, if you have one
- Alien registration card, if you have one
- Individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN), if you have one
- List of colleges you are interested in attending
- Most current bank statements
- Any records of untaxed income, pensions, disability benefits, IRS contributions, veterans’ benefits, and child support payments received or paid
