Message from the Chief Executive Officer
Welcome to the Compton Community College District. Student success is central to our
mission of supporting the educational needs of our community. Originally established
in 1927, the District now serves five Trustee Areas encompassing 12 cities.

Board Meetings
Board meetings are held the third Monday of each month and are open to the public. 5:00 p.m. (Closed Session), 6:00
p.m. (Open Session), unless otherwise noted.
Community Engagement in the CCCD
- CCCD Board of Trustees: The next Regular Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 20 at 6:00 p.m. The
in-person meeting will be held in the Board Room, located in the Administration Building.
- Foundation for the CCCD: Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room,
located in the Administration Building.
- Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee: The next committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at 5:00 p.m. in the
Board Room.
- The CCCD is seeking qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee of community
leaders which will serve as the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. For more information, and to download the application, click here (PDF).
- The Compton College District Police Department will hold a community engagement meeting
on Thursday, July 9 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to provide information about the District’s
police military equipment inventory and to allow members of the public to ask questions
