Entry to Campus Protocol for Students

While on campus, everyone is expected to follow specific protocols to help ensure the health and safety of the Compton College community and the public.
All Currently Enrolled Students
|Entry to Campus Protocol including Symptom Screening||
Students are encouraged to perform daily health screenings for infectious diseases, including COVID-19, and to stay home or seek medical care for any symptoms identified.
|Reporting a Positive COVID-19 Case||
The "Report a Positive COVID-19 Case" form is available via the MyCompton portal and includes questions necessary to determine quarantine and isolation guidelines and assist with contact tracing.
|Masks||Masks are strongly recommended, but not required in indoor, public areas.
LACDPH Mask Rules and Recommendations (updated 8/11/2023)
There are no mandates at this time to impose physical distancing requirements or capacity limits, beyond maximum capacity set by the fire marshal.
|Parking Permits||Current students may park for free at Compton College through June 30, 2024, with a valid student parking permit. Students must complete the online application (https://paymycite.com/Compton/parkingpermit.aspx) to receive their free 2023-2024 parking permit.
