2013 Commencement Ceremony - June 6

El Camino College Compton Center will hold its 2013 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, June 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Tartar Stadium. Congratulations graduates!

Temporary Closure

Temporary Closure of the Track and Football Stadium - May 30 - June 11 In preparation for the annual commencement ceremony, the Tartar track and football stadium will be temporarily closed between May 30 and June 11. For those who use the facility for exercise, walking/running the perimeter of the Compton Community College District property is a good alternative location.

Construction Update

As we continue work to improve the grounds and facilities at the ECC Compton Center, there will be some inconveniences along the way. Please note that access to Compton Center will be continually modified as part of the ongoing infrastructure project.

Beginning Monday, April 8:

• Parking Lot F for Students & Staff will re-open
• The road around the VocTech Building will be closed from the Gym to Lot H

Please be careful around the construction areas. It is recommended that you arrive at least 20 minutes early to avoid delays in getting to your classes.

Faculty & Staff Parking Update

Parking Lots C and D (white parking zone) are for administrators use only. Staff parking (orange curbs) is reserved for all other employees. Gray curbs are designated student parking areas. Beginning the week of Feb. 18, ECC Compton Center parking services will be ticketing parking violators. Additional staff parking is available in Lot B (south of the gym) or in the dirt parking lot.

Counseling Spring Hours

April 15-June 7, 2013: Counseling Department will be open for appointments. Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. - noon. Please check with the Counseling Department for walk-in appointments.
