New & Returning Students
New and returning students (those with an absence of two consecutive primary terms: fall or spring semesters; excluding summer and winter terms) must complete an online application for admission. -
Check your Email
You will receive an email with your Student ID # and further instructions within 2 business days excluding weekends and holidays. -
Transcripts
Official transcripts from all accredited colleges and trade schools attended must be submitted to the Admissions & Records Office via email, transcripts@compton.edu, or in-person in the Administration Building. -
Advanced Placement
Students applying for Advanced Placement (AP) credit must submit official copy of AP scores.

Filing Periods
Application filing periods will open September 1 for winter/spring and October 1 for summer/fall. -
Winter/Summer
Applicants who submit a winter or summer application will automatically receive a registration time ticket for the next term. -

CCCApply has integrated an identity verification through ID.me. This helps protect student identities and prevent fraudulent students from taking spots in classes at Compton College.
Documents you may use to verify identity:- Government-issued ID such as a current Driver’s License or State ID card

Official Transcripts
It is important to request official transcripts from previous colleges attended. Please have transcripts sent to the Admissions & Records Office. Compton College does not accept transcripts issued to students or other second parties. All transcripts MUST be sent directly from the other colleges or universities to the Compton College Admissions & Records Office.
In most cases, a high school transcript is not needed. -
