Health Center Hours

August 22 - December 31, 2023*

*St. John’s Community Health Center will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:

  • Saturday, December 22, 2023, through Monday, December 25, 2023
  • Saturday, December 29, 2022, through Monday, January 3, 2024

Other than these holiday closures, the Health Center will remain open during the winter recess to serve students on the days/times below. 

Mondays – 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Tuesdays-Fridays – 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Telephone Encounters are also available to students who are unable to make it to the clinic. We will continue to be open to the public for COVID-19 and mpox (formerly known as monkeypox) vaccines, and COVID-19 testing.

Prevent Flu This Fall and Winter

Get Vaccinated!

Following guidance from the California Department of Public Health, Compton College advises all students and employees to get a flu vaccine each fall to help protect yourself and others from the risk of illness, hospitalization, and death.

Students: Make an appointment for a free flu vaccine by calling 213-226-7480.


COVID-19 Vaccines

St. John's Community Health is providing COVID-19 vaccines using our on-campus health center as a vaccination pod. The COVID-19 vaccine is FREE to all eligible persons (Visit the LADPH website for more info.)

Currently Enrolled Students: Make an appointment for a free COVID-19 vaccine by calling 877-612-8299.
Community Members may call 1-866-980-0870 to register for an appointment.
