The Foundation for the Compton Community College District is looking for community members to serve as board members on its foundation. A board member is responsible for ensuring that the Compton CCD Foundation fulfills its mission to maintain and expand educational programs and services to Compton College students. Through partnerships with individuals and corporations in the surrounding areas, the Foundation will provide financial support, scholarships, and other needed resources to Compton College students, faculty, and staff for ongoing improvement of the academic environment. The Board meets monthly and board members serve a two (2) year term.

Applications are reviewed by the Board Development Committee, and nominations are brought to the attention of the Board of Directors for review and approval. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application prior to the Annual Foundation of Directors Board of Directors Meeting.
