ADMINISTRATION
Dr. Bedan Kamau, Associate Dean, Distance Education and Instructional Technology
We are excited to welcome Dr. Bedan Kamau to our team. Dr. Kamau offers extensive expertise in instructional design and e- learning development, supported by a strong background in managing complex training projects and developing engaging educational content. With proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline360, and various Learning Management Systems like Canvas and Blackboard, Dr. Kamau is well-prepared to advance our learning initiatives. Dr. Kamau holds a Doctorate in Education Administration and Leadership and has held significant roles at institutions including the University of California and California State University, San Bernardino. We are confident that Dr. Kamau's innovative approach and extensive experience will greatly benefit our organization.
Fun Fact: Dr. Kamau has explored four out of the seven continents and looks forward to visiting the remaining ones. Additionally, Dr. Kamau is fluent in three languages: English, Kiswahili, and Kikuyu.
Our new team members bring extensive knowledge and professional experience and they are excited to join Compton College in its dedication to providing high-quality educational programs that contribute to student success.
