If you're a...

New Student

Complete the Steps to Enrollment.

  • Orientation - Have questions? New Student Orientation provides an introduction to academic programs and support services to help you succeed.
    • Orientation is only offered online via the MyCompton portal. Students must have an activated Compton College student email account to access the online Orientation. For more information, call the Welcome Center, ext. 2765.

  • Educational Planning
    Focus on your goal! Meet with a counselor and complete an educational plan to identify classes that are required to complete a certificate, degree or transfer program.
    Students can drop-in the same day and meet with a Counselor, no appointment necessary!

  • Need Assistance?
    Email the Welcome Center at welcomecenter@compton.edu. Or chat with a Guided Pathway Advisor online here.

  • Register for Classes
    Log in to MyCompton and register online for classes on or after your assigned appointment time.

 

Current Student

Returning Student

If you have missed two consecutive primary terms (fall or spring semesters, excluding summer and winter terms), you must complete an online application for admission. Follow the steps listed above for New Students.


Transfer/University Student

Follow these steps if you have completed classes at another college or university, but have never attended Compton College or you do not have a current application on file.

  • Apply for Admission
    Complete an online application.

  • Meet with a Counselor
    Students who believe they have met a prerequisite for a course can email counseling@compton.edu and have their prerequisite(s) cleared and register for class(es). Click here for additional information.
  • Register for Classes
    Register for classes online via MyCompton.
