The bigfuture by College Board will allow you to explore your interests in college majors and career choices. 


California Career Cafe is a virtual career center for California Community College Students.


EUREKA allows you to research Colleges and Universities, take assessment tests to help you find careers that may be right for you, learn about programs of study available for your chosen career, and learn how to search for scholarships and grants for which you may be eligible.

California Colleges - This site will allow you to find out where a particular major is offered in colleges in California click "explore colleges."  Also click "careers" for career information.


O'Net Online - Search occupational information by keyword, or find occupations based on skills search, or Holland Interest Code. Developed by the U.S. Department of Labor Statistics, this comprehensive database provides very detailed information on occupations and the attributes of the workers in these occupations, including work tasks, skills, personality traits, and values.


Occupational Outlook Handbook Online - Developed by the US. Department of Labor Statistics, this site contains searchable database of occupations with useful information on employment outcomes, available jobs, salaries, and education or training required. 


Career Info Net - Includes comprehensive information on employment outlook, including state by state analysis of fastest growing industries, largest employment opportunities, occupations with the highest salaries, and job outlook specific to level of education (from High School Diploma to Associate Degree, Bachelor's, Master's and Post-Graduate Degrees)


California Labor Market Information - This website contains California Occupational Guides to help you explore careers and the Occupational Profiles for salary, jobs, and job outlook information.







ASSIST is an online student-transfer information system that shows how course credits earned at one public California college or university can be applied when transferred to another. ASSIST is the official repository of articulation for California's public colleges and universities and provides the most accurate and up-to-date information about student transfer in California.


California Colleges is the state's official website that provides information about higher education in California for students, counselors, and parents.


Peterson's Education Center college database provides college, educational and career information as well as online college applications.

College Board allows you to find colleges that match your goals and interests. It offers extensive information on every aspect of college search and application process including online college applications.

The CollegeNet search engine helps you find colleges by region, college sports, major, tuition and several other criteria. You can review compare and sort schools according to detailed profiles provided by ACT.

Web U.S. Higher Education  This page of UT Austin Web Central contains links to Web servers at universities and community colleges in the U.S.

US Two-Year Colleges  This page provides a comprehensive list of two-year colleges that includes technical colleges, junior colleges, and accredited two-year proprietary schools in the U.S.
