President/CEO Message
July 27, 2020
Campus Community,
Only three Zoom meetings today, which I consider to be a success. However, I just scanned my schedule for tomorrow, July 28, 2020, and it appears I have six Zoom meetings.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with your family and friends. Today, I had an employee stop by my office, who thanked me for their employment. I reminded the employee that during these budgets times, we will continue to follow the 2020-2021 Guiding Principles, which I shared with the campus community in the President/CEO Message - May 22, 2020. I thanked the employee for their work in support of student success. The President/CEO Message - July 27, 2020, includes COVID-19 information and other campus-related updates.

Final Thoughts
On Saturday, July 25, 2020, the Compton CCD Board of Trustees held their first Board Study Session of the 2020
year. The Board of Trustees reviewed their 2020 goals and began a mid-year assessment
of their progress toward completing those goals. The 2020 Board of Trustees' Goals
are available here. The Board of Trustees' Goals align with the Compton College 2024 Strategic Initiatives. I have asked the managers/supervisors to have regular discussions
on the 2020 Board of Trustees' Goals, the 2020-2021 Compton College Goals, and the updated Compton College Institutional-Set Goals during their program, department, and division meetings.
Sincerely,
Keith Curry, Ed.D.
