Seeds is a special program for early childhood educators offered at El Camino College and the El Camino College Compton Center.  Sponsored by a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Seeds is designed to recruit current and prospective Head Start teachers and provide them with the necessary coursework and professional development opportunities to help them gain employment or advance in their careers.
In partnership with local Head Start Programs, Seeds will provide training in the areas of special education, curriculum development, home, school, and community partnerships, and working effectively with English Language Learners.
