May 21, 2020, Open Pandemic Coordinator Meeting
We would like you to join the Pandemic Coordinators on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the "Eventual Return to Campus" plan. If you are interested in participating in the meeting, please email Heather Parnock, Director of Community Relations, at email@example.com to receive the Zoom meeting information. The discussion will focus on the necessary preparation and considerations for a safe reopening of the College.
In the coming weeks, the California Community College Athletics Association, of which I serve as chair of the Board of Directors, will meet to discuss fall student athletic competition. Not a day goes by, that I am not receiving an email or telephone call about California community college athletics. Many community college CEOs want a decision made as soon as possible so they can plan for the fall semester. As I contemplate this critical decision, I think about the ripple effect of every decision we make as educational leaders. During these times, we need to think through decisions and request creative input since many decisions could have unintended consequences.
In the coming days, after considering all your valuable input, we will announce the Compton College plan for fall 2020.
