Longtime Compton residents Elizabeth and Yessenia Estrada have made student life at Compton Center a "sister thing" - they attend classes together, share books, and both serve on the ASB executive board.
They also plan to transfer next fall to the University of California at Irvine, where they will study similar majors and take classes together when they can. Both have career aspirations that combine their education with community service.
