COMMENCEMENT INFORMATION

Date: Thursday, June 6, 2019 (rain or shine)
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Location: Football Stadium

Commencement Day Schedule: 

3:00 p.m.: Graduates check in at the gymnasium.

4:20 p.m.: Class photo of all graduates in gymnasium.

4:30 p.m.: Graduates will assemble for the Line of March in their cap and gown in the gymnasium.

5:30 p.m.: Commencement Ceremony  Seating for friends and family will open at 3 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. The ceremony will last approximately two hours. Graduates and certificate recipients will march from the gymnasium to the football stadium. Speeches will be given, and college officials will call each student by name to be recognized for completing the requirements for a degree or certificate. Graduates will be handed a diploma cover when their name is called - all diplomas will be mailed to graduates at a later date.

7:30 p.m.: Commencement Reception A reception for graduates, family, and friends will be held in the gymnasium for complimentary refreshments, music, and the opportunity to mingle with faculty and fellow graduates.

Commencement Program
The commencement program lists your name if you submitted your Intent to Graduate paperwork before the deadline and meet graduation requirements. Participants will receive a copy of the program at the Graduate Assembly in the Gymnasium and guests will receive a copy of the program at the ceremony.

Parking:

Valet service will be available in Parking Lot A and Lot F.

Photo and Video:

Family members and friends of graduates may take photographs or video from their seat location in the audience. A professional photographer will photograph each graduate as the diploma covers are presented.

Prohibited Items:

No bullhorns, umbrellas, or balloons are allowed during the Commencement ceremony, as they may disturb the ceremony, speaker, announcer, or audience viewpoints.
