The PS MAPP program provides mandated training to help prospective families make an informed decision about becoming a foster/adoptive parent. PS MAPP is a 33 hour curriculum developed by the Child Welfare institute and required by the State of California for all prospective parents interested in fostering or adopting children in the foster care system. PS MAPP training is offered free of charge and is open to all qualified potential prospective foster/adoptive parents after attending a mandatory orientation.
Call 1-888-811-1121 to schedule an orientation with the Department of Children and Family Services. Orientation must be completed before entering the PS MAPP Workshops.
