Breach of Taxpayer Data at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
The 'Get Transcript' application has been temporarily disabled due to a data breach at the IRS.
Students and parents are encouraged to use the Data Retrieval Tool via their FAFSA. Students or parents may still request the IRS Tax Transcript by mail using the IRS Get Transcript website and choosing “Get Transcript by Mail.†The IRS Tax Transcripts will then be mailed to the address the IRS has on file within 5 to 10 business days. Students and parents may also go in person to an IRS office. Additional information available at the IRS Website.
