Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for EOP&S	Eligibility for CARE
be a California resident	all EOP&S eligibility requirements in addition to:
enrolled in 12 or more units	are at least 18 years of age
have fewer than 70 degree applicable units	are single parent, head of your household
qualify for a Board of Governors Fee Waiver A or B, or C (with zero estimated family contribution) and have an educational need as determined by Title V regulations.	are currently receiving TANF/CalWORKs
And an education need in one of the following areas: Placement scores below English 1A or Math 40	have at least one child under 14 years of age
Non high-school graduate or have passed the California Proficiency Exam, or earned a GED	are enrolled full-time upon admission into the program
Previous enrollment in remedial courses	are enrolled ina program leadig to a vocational certificate, licences, associate degree or transfer option
High school graduate with GPA below 2.5
Other factors as determined by the EOP&S Director
