Most of the collections in the Reserve Area of the Library are textbooks. They were either purchased by the Library or donated by the teachers for use of their class. Students may check out one reserve item at a time and must return it before checking out another item.  Certain exceptions may be made in the case of manuals and other materials with accompanying devices or supplementary text with them. 

Students must present and leave their picture ID at the desk if they want to use any Reserve material. They must also sign the borrower’s card that accompanies the book.

Reserves are materials for “Library use only” The loan period is 2 hours with no renewal. They may not be placed on hold and they do not check out for overnight use.

Faculty may make other materials, such as articles, brochures and special folders available to students by bringing them to the Reserve Area where students can take turns using these special materials.

Electronic Reserves will also become available in the future.
