Compton College / Child Development Center
Child Development Center
Abel B. Sykes Jr., Child Development Center, accepts applications for enrollment of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. If you are a student, you may be eligible for FREE or low-cost child care.
Housed in a brand-new facility, this infant/toddler, preschool program offers excellent,
affordable child care, and a unique learning experience for the whole family. Children
learn and grow while parents attend class and study. The education extends to college
students studying early childhood education, as they apply classroom lessons to a
preschool setting. Free or low-cost enrollment fees are available to those who qualify.
The Child Development Center offers full- and half-day childcare services subsidized by the State Department of Education.
