Child Development Center

The Abel B. Sykes Jr., Child Development Center accepts applications for enrollment of infants, toddlers, preschool and school-age children. If you are a student and/or working parent you may be eligible for FREE or low-cost child care.

Housed in a brand-new facility, this preschool program offers excellent, affordable child care and a unique learning experience for the whole family. Children learn and grow while parents work or study. The education extends to college students studying early childhood education, as they apply classroom lessons to a preschool setting. Free or low-cost enrollment fees are available to those who qualify.

The Child Development Center offers full- and half-day childcare services, and is subsidized by the State Department of Education.
